Fresno Recognized Nationally as a Pacesetter for Grade-Level Reading

October 30, 2014, Fresno County was recognized as a Pacesetter Community by the national Campaign for Grade Level Reading.  Ralph Smith, Senior Vice President of the Annie E. Casey Foundation and Managing Director of the Campaign for Grade Level Reading, applauded the way the community is coming together to put young children on the path to reading success, noting in particular the strong commitments resulting from the Children’s Summit.
